I have had so much going on in my personal life, it is is crazy, it's like everything is coming at me at once.. a death in the family, finding out my son is sicker than I thought and needing costly and timely procedures, personal health issues and a mess of other things and I just want to say I am so grateful. I have never had to reschedule so many people at once and im so grateful for flexible clients and people showing me so much empathy during all of this. Thank you for being patient with scheduling. Y'all are the best and I wouldn't trade this amazing career for anything.

🌟I frequently get asked what the difference between "balayage" and "highlights" is..
If you have been thinking of making the switch from traditional highlights to balayage here is the difference and why it is a great idea! 🌟
✨highlights are pieces of hair woven in foil so the pattern is very distinct
✨balayage is free handed for a much more 'organic' look
✨balayage requires a retouch every 8-10 weeks while highlights require a retouch every 4-6 weeks
✨balayage is super trendy right now with most celebs rocking a more 'blended root'
✨ you can keep your natural color around your face with balayage, or you can brighten the peices around your face since balayage is very customizable
✨balayage is very versatile so you can have your colorist customize the dark and light pieces to highlight and Contour certain areas of your face shape!
✨✨ it is important to remember you will have roots showing immediately after your appointment but this is part of the effortless, lived in effect of balayage coloring
✨✨ there are many styles of balayaging and placement is key so consult with your stylist on what would work best for you!!

It's the last day of #redkensymposium2017 and man! What an incredible few days!! I've gotten to journey via helicopter to the floor of the Grand Canyon, see DNCE up close and personal, shop the legendary Vegas strip, meet educators/ celebrity stylists who have inspired me greatly since hair school and I have learned and grown so much! Feeling so blessed and so grateful and definitley coming back to the salon a changed woman! ❤🙌🏻
The secret to success is realizing you will never know it all and keeping yourself educated and inspired and keeping your mind open. I hope everyone has a lovely Monday 💕
